As an integral member of the Finance team at Fourth Street Clinic, the Accounting Clerk will be at the heart of our daily financial operations! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail and enjoys ensuring that every financial activity is in line with our policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for recording expenses and ensuring they are accurately coded to various programs and grants, all while fostering positive vendor relationships. Reporting to the Controller, you'll assist in maintaining precise financial records and managing the organization’s cash flow, contributing directly to our mission of serving the community. What matters most To thrive as an Accounting Clerk at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll need a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. Being able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines will be essential in our fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking will empower you to tackle challenges head-on, while your proactive nature will help address issues before they escalate. You should be comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture. A background in federal, nonprofit, or health center finance is preferred, along with an Associate’s degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of four years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with familiarity with accounting platforms and systems, will be the keys to your success in helping us maintain impeccable financial records and manage cash flow effectively.
