The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing and maintaining production reporting, managing inventory, and handling shipping, invoicing, and receiving documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.   • Enter production and usage data into ERP systems from inventory control sources.
  • Audit Manufacturing Work Order (WO) documentation for accuracy and compliance; investigate variances and provide corrective guidance.
  • Train production personnel on proper WO documentation procedures.
  • Manage inventory adjustments from cycle counts, including auditing and process oversight.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support monthly accounting close activities by preparing journal entries, generating system reports, and completing reconciliations.
  • Perform accounting tasks requiring knowledge of US GAAP and adherence to SOX internal controls.
  • Process daily customer invoices, accounts payable transactions, and other routine accounting functions.
  • Maintain organized records and files; perform scanning, copying, and document processing.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to gather accounting data and resolve issues.
  • Execute special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related field of study or equivalent experience.
  • 1 - 2 years’ accounting experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management skills.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to accommodate work fluctuations and deadlines.
  • Experience using integrated ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, OnBase)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate experience in Excel.
