About The Position

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to support the financial operations of the Ventures Marketplace, our retail incubator for emerging entrepreneurs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent, accurate work and wants to use their accounting skills to support a meaningful mission.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of accounting experience
  • General ledger entry experience

  • experience with B&O tax preparation

Responsibilities

  • Enter and reconcile daily sales, deposits, and tax information
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Verify and post business transactions
  • Reconcile bank activity and investigate discrepancies
  • Review invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other source documents
  • Assist with B&O tax packets and other clerical accounting tasks
