A leading company in the water technology and logistics sector is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join its growing team. This role was created due to continued expansion and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive accounting department. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with basic accounting functions. This role ensures financial data integrity and supports the accounting team with reporting, reconciliations, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience, including exposure to bookkeeping or accounting tasks
• Proficiency with Excel for organizing and analyzing data
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accounting transactions in the general ledger
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and bill payments
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
