About The Position

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records within a small machinery manufacturing business in Dayton, Ohio. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the organization's financial operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Machinery Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of basic Accounting Functions is required.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
  • Ability to manage Invoicing processes efficiently.
  • Experience in Coding Invoices is desirable.
  • Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Coding Invoices is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Handling AP invoicing, PO, and 3-way matching
  • Managing AR invoices for customers and reconciling sales with some collection calls
  • Assisting in making collection calls to support the payment process
  • Handling timecard entries, reconciling with timeclock, and tracking vacation for 25 employees
  • Utilizing Made to Manage software for order entry, opening sales orders, and ensuring correct bill of materials for the purchasing department.
