About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. This role supports the accounting department by performing daily financial tasks and assisting with month-end processes. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred (AP/AR focus a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality
  • Excel proficiency required; experience with accounting software a plus
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process Accounts Payable invoices and ensure correct coding
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and help resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile monthly AP statements
  • Receive, process, and post incoming payments
  • Track and reconcile company credit card expenses
  • Assist with vendor setup and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Help prepare and submit local sales tax and business privilege taxes
  • Assist with general ledger account reconciliations
  • Support the month-end close and other routine accounting tasks
  • Provide general administrative support and 'wear many hats' to help the team as needed
