About The Position

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for: 1- Full-time (Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM) 40 hours per week. Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Advanced computer and data entry skills.
  • Microsoft application skills.
  • Diligence and with math acuity.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cash handling and processing highly preferred.
  • Must have ability to manage confidential information on a need-to-know basis as defined by SCHC.
  • Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and review of required immunizations. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and reconcile daily cash receipts.
  • Prepare and process daily bank and electronic check deposits.
  • Maintain money drawer and petty cash balances.
  • Assist with preparing restricted fund balances.
  • Maintain monthly pharmacy fund expense spreadsheet.
  • Assist with outstanding and returned checks.
  • Process checks to be sent out in the mail after each check run.
  • Scan accounting documents to the appropriate computer files.
  • Assist in preparation of all audits.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
