About The Position

The Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist is responsible for supporting daily financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing receivables, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general ledger activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • MUST be bilingual due to work environment - English AND Spanish
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions within the general ledger
  • Process accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track company expenses, budgets, and overall cash flow activity
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure records are up to date
  • Support month-end closing activities and internal reporting as needed
  • Assist with additional accounting duties as assigned
