Responsibilities

  • Review, reconcile, compile, track, and process accounting transactions involving cash, receipts, invoices, requisitions, vouchers, journal entries, and expense reports.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts to resolve discrepancies and update information.
  • Prepare standard and customized reports, including summaries of balances and cost information.
  • Assist with processing fiscal period opening and closing transactions.
  • Maintain and update files; gather and collate records to compile information.
  • Conduct payroll processing tasks, including verifying timesheets and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Complete and verify data entry and distribute paychecks.
  • Provide information and answer questions from staff regarding payroll issues.
  • Maintain attendance and leave tracking records.
  • Act as a functional representative in data management systems and provide training to new users.
  • Coordinate Family and Medical Leave according to policies and procedures.
