Hawaiian Properties, Ltd. is currently seeking a Full Time Accounting Assistant for our Honolulu Office. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate accounting of association records. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Assistant will perform a variety of activities including organizing and filing accounting records, assisting with data input such as owner setup and PCI updates, and handling customer service calls from owners, tenants, and staff in a professional manner. This position requires protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential and assisting with special projects and analyses as requested. The Accounting Assistant will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting team. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess effective communication and organizational skills, be able to analyze situations and formulate effective plans of action, and be capable of handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and tight deadlines. The position is full-time, requiring a commitment to work in the office from Monday to Friday, with expected hours of 37.5 per week.
