About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficient in data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Tracking all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charging expenses to accounts by analyzing invoice and expense reports.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Updating and maintaining the vendor database.
• Disbursing petty cash by recording entries and verifying documentation.
• Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies.
• Maintaining accounts payable files and documents.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
