About the position

The Accounting Assistant (bilingual) position is a full-time role focused on supporting the Accounting Manager by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping and document management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records
  • Upload documents to the property management system
  • Generate and maintain various spreadsheets using Excel
  • Perform data entry and correspondence
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
  • Perform all other duties as needed to assist the Accounting Manager

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
  • Strong ability to multi-task and switch tasks without warning
  • Excellent attention to detail and very strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and tenants
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is required
  • Quick learner, adaptable to a variety of tasks
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
