About The Position

Founders 3 is Wisconsin’s largest, independently owned, full-service commercial real estate brokerage and management firm. Its growing Marina Division (F3 Marina) is a leader in professional marina management and consulting services to marina owners around the world, covering all aspects of waterfront development and management, including marinas and adjacent upland property such as multi-family and retail. The company aims to provide expertise, experience, and attention to detail to delight boaters, clients, and communities while maximizing occupancy and revenue. They are seeking a bright, forward-thinking, deadline-driven, and enthusiastic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their team. This Accounting Assistant/Administrative Assistant position supports the Halifax Marina team by completing administrative functions, including accurate and timely data entry of invoices (A/R), cash reports and deposits, and creating and processing monthly customer statements. Providing outstanding customer service is a priority in this role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Solid accounts receivable skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • Good data entry competency
  • Good math competency
  • A good standard of computer literacy, showing confidence in working with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and other software packages
  • High level working knowledge of Excel
  • Extremely organized
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Skills in customer service and selling marina products

Nice To Haves

  • QuickBooks experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Completing administrative functions to include accurate and timely data entry of invoices (A/R)
  • Completing cash reports and deposits
  • Creating and processing monthly customer statements
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Accurately collect A/R
  • Provide management with accurate and timely reporting on A/R, operational spreadsheets
  • Post deferred revenue and reconcile it monthly
  • Complete Inventory, Fuel, COGS Reports etc. Daily, Weekly and Monthly
