Accounting and Finance Intern
About The Position

The accounting and finance team’s work centers on completing the month-end close and preparing accurate financial results and reports. Our intern will support this process by assisting with a variety of recurring tasks, learning from multiple team members, and gaining exposure to a range of repeatable accounting and finance processes rather than isolated, individual projects. I attempted, however, to outline some of those monthly tasks as projects. Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 2nd- Friday, August 14th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.

- The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 2nd- Friday, August 14th. You must be able to work 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling and posting general journal entries under the supervision and approval of the accounting team management
- Assist in reconciling simple balance sheet accounts
- Assist in researching and updating royalty rate indexes and system with currently contracted rates
- Assist in reviewing operational expenditures for proper coding
- Assist in various aspects of the month end close cycle (i.e., inventory, revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
- Sit in meetings to gain exposure and insight to accounting responsibilities and problem solving
