As the Accounting Analyst, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting key day‑to‑day accounting operations.. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform detailed expense analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A mission-driven individual with high energy, a strong work ethic, and a high level of perseverance; dedicated to achieving both individual and team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable: Support the full cycle of Accounts Payable by approving invoices, processing payments, completing vendor reconciliations, and assisting with vendor management tasks like onboarding, verification, and updating vendor information
  • Credit Card Program Administration: Support the company’s credit card program by enforcing policy requirements, reviewing expense reports, and completing reconciliations. Help identify areas where compliance or cost efficiency can be improved.
  • Employee Reimbursements: Process employee reimbursements and mileage submissions in line with company policy, IRS guidelines, and audit requirements. Ensure documentation is complete, coding is accurate, and submissions are processed on time.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with general ledger tasks such as preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting accruals.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Help identify and record fixed assets, ensuring proper capitalization and accurate entry into the Fixed Assets module. Confirm that asset data flows correctly from AP and other sources to support accurate depreciation and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in identifying and suggesting process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls within the accounting function.
  • Prepaids: Identify and code prepaid‑related AP bills and credit card transactions. Enter items into the Prepaids module and help maintain accurate schedules to support timely amortization.
  • Deposits: Process patient deposits on Tuesdays and Thursdays, ensuring accurate posting, proper allocation, and timely reconciliation.
