Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years of Accounting experience

CPA License or CPA Candidate

Responsibilities

Review daily accounting activities including general ledger postings, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analysis, supporting month and year-end close processes.
Assist with quarterly call reports and related regulatory filings.
Coordinate federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring all governmental filings related to the credit union and related entities are completed.
Facilitate internal and external audits and regulatory exams, including preparation of documentation and audit support.
Enhance the maintenance of internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting.
Collaborate on department and credit union initiatives focusing on accounting-related matters.
