About The Position

Under general supervision develop and maintain rapport with brokers, Claims Department, Actuarial Department and State Agencies to ensure the timely payment of premiums and collection of reinsurance recoverable balances. What you will do: Provide claims notification to reinsurance companies. This includes initial notice and follow up until final settlement. Assist in reconciliations related to new system implementation. Coding of Reinsurance reimbursement requests submitted. Preparation of premium remittances to ensure timely and accurate submission to brokers and reinsurers. Record cash application of reinsurance premium and claims into our reinsurance system. Prepare reinsurance billing of claims accurately. Various ad hoc projects. What you will bring to C&F: Major in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred. Experience in Reinsurance is a plus but not necessary. PC proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Access. Good interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers. Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work overtime when needed. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $44,000.00 to a maximum of $64,600.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. Requirements

  • Major in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred.
