Business Segment Overview Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. Responsibilities The Accounting Analyst Jr role will be an intricate part of the Finance function of the Company that will interface with various Groups. This position will work in a team environment and directly correspond with various department heads and will report directly to the Financial Controller. The position will include opportunities to grow within the organization which is continually expanding. The Accounting Analyst Jr will be the primary Finance staff responsible for ensuring accounts receivable balances are booked correctly to the ledger and continually provide process improvement suggestions to daily and monthly processes.

Requirements

  • This is an entry level position. Candidates graduating after December 2025 will not be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 1 Years Accounting experience
  • Must possess a good understanding of general accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as a strong sense of time management and detail for all completed work

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of GMI, Sun GL System and/or Oracle a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany entries
  • Mark to market firm investments on a monthly basis, prepare journal entries, and post to the ledger
  • Post payroll journals, 401k and health allocation
  • Prepare and distribute invoices for account receivables and post journals
  • Prepare and post accrued expense journals
  • Reconcile, research and resolve differences and book appropriate journal entries
  • Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet accounts
  • Assist with regulatory and year end audit examinations
  • Assist with process improvement and best practices initiatives
  • Assist with ad hoc projects
  • Create and update desk procedures
