About The Position

We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst I for our Houston, TX office. The position is to support the accounting functions of projects, including reviewing alliance contractor invoices and tracking contractor spending. The role involves evaluating Alliance Agreement terms of payment and applying them to tracking spreadsheets, as well as resolving invoice issues with contractors. Additional responsibilities include compiling retention release packages, reconciling project spend to contracts, preparing lien waivers and release documents, and coordinating with Operations. The candidate will also prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, interface payroll into projects, and assist with Oracle quarterly regression testing.

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Highly organized, motivated and an analytical thinker.
