About The Position

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable is required.
  • 1 year of overall experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring all required forms, such as W9 or W-8-BEN-E, are received.
  • Issue and monitor Sales Tax Exemption Certificates, verifying their validity and tracking expiration dates.
  • Prepare, sort, copy, file, and mail invoices, receipts, checks, correspondence, and other requested items.
  • Audit invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and approve invoices for payment.
  • Prepare checks, address inquiries, and resolve payment issues with vendors or purchasing agents.
  • Process both foreign and domestic invoices for payment, reviewing for accuracy, proper authorization, and general ledger coding before data entry.
  • Enter foreign checks into the accounting system monthly.
  • Conduct account analyses and prepare account summaries.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable to ensure payments are accurate and processed on time.
