About The Position

SUMMARY: This position may be responsible for any of the following duties: Interact with production management to reconcile product and WIP inventories including incoming and outgoing shipments daily production and product movement. Generate useful feedback reports to production management on a daily basis. Entering production data packaging costs and direct labor indirect labor variable fixed and payroll overhead allocations to generate cost reports; calculate inventory usage; journal entries; researching losses and variances; tracking rework man-hours for chargebacks; preparing department company and USDA reports; and any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 plus years experience.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. Tyson Business Computer Systems include the Sales Inventory Management System the Purchase Order System the Accounts Payable System the General Ledger System the Transportation Trucking System or the Human Resource System.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams.
• Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results and coordinating with others.
• Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
