About The Position

SUMMARY: Person will be responsible for processing and reconciling all payroll related information (including deductions, product sales, etc) within the plant transmitting the information to Corporate Payroll while meeting all payroll deadlines and adhering to all policies; at all times maintaining confidentiality of all payroll and plant information; responsible for filing and maintaining/retaining documents per policy; schedule upkeep/maintenance, working with HR, other departments and supervisors to facilitate accurate and timely payments to team members and other duties as deemed necessary; running reports and their distribution; cross-training and providing back up support for other positions within the Accounting department when needed to cover for vacations or absences, etc; must be detail oriented and able to work within a deadline oriented position on a weekly basis; must be self-motivated and able to work independently without constant direct supervision; must be able to spot errors and correct work on a timely basis; effectively partner with other departments; maintain professional decorum at all times; and provide great customer service to all levels of team members. Some weekend hours may be required if necessary to meet early deadlines. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years of related experience; office experience. Computer Skills: Moderate computer skills; Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate with all levels of Team Members. Special Skills: Good organizational skills, interpersonal skills good problem-solving skills, maintains professionalism and confidentiality; must work well in a team environment.
