About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at T and M Building Co., Inc. This full-time position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to manage various accounting tasks effectively. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or a similar role is helpful.
• Proficiency in using computer software.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounts payables is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• CPA certification preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GAAP (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Keeping track of multiple bank accounts and reconciling to bank balances.
• Handling accounts payables.
• Job costing.
• Utilizing software to streamline accounting processes and reporting.
• Working with the CEO to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
