Accountant

Entry level Accountant is responsible for maintaining accounting records using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to support the financial operations of Rush Truck Insurance Services. Responsibilities: * Enter and maintain data in company's accounting system. * Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements, accounts payables, and accounts receivables. * Post journal entries and review general ledger accounts to ensure financial data is accurately categorized. * Research and correct account discrepancies. * Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, preferred. * Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience. * Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
