The Accountant for Business Services administers the financial accounting functions for the College’s grant-funded programs. The position prepares and submits Federal and State Financial Reports, manages cash draws, processes contract invoicing, and supports both desk and on‑site audits. It also performs a range of accounting duties that ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional requirements while providing high‑quality financial support across the organization. Ability to travel within the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges district and occasionally statewide or nationally to attend meetings, trainings, conferences, and support multi‑campus operations; travel may include same‑day trips and occasional overnight stays.
