About The Position

The Accountant will support the Finance team with various accounting functions, including but not limited to: processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the monthly close process. This role works cross-functionally with various internal teams, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data while contributing to the overall success of the company’s goals.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting (preferred); high school diploma with relevant experience will be considered
Minimum of 1–3 years in an Accounting or Finance related role
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across all levels of an organization
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with accounting software (Sage100 or equivalent system a plus)

Responsibilities

Systematically process all inbound receipts at 3PL warehouses
Process factory invoices ensuring 3-way-match accuracy is adhered to
Process all necessary documents for factory to customer sales related to the DI business
Prepare account analysis and bank reconciliations, as applicable
Record monthly employee expenses to GL
Compile and submit international VAT tax filings
Monitor Fixed Assets GL activity and update analysis, as needed
Support month-end close process
Assist with audits, as needed
Provide back-up coverage for other accounting roles, as needed
