About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our large national manufacturing and distribution client on a project basis. This contract role is on-site in Maumelle, Arkansas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Highly organized and attention to detail
Strong understanding of Accounting systems and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Encore software strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Document financial transactions such as sales, payables, and receivables into Encore software
Reconcile financial records to bank statements and address variances
Maintain relevant spreadsheets, online databases and all accounting software
Create financial reports to assist with management decisions
Support financial planning activities
Research accounting policies and train team members, as needed
