About The Position

Accountant Non-Negotiables | Accountant| – NGN 1,500,000 Net - Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA) with a valid practicing license. - Industry Experience: Proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically handling financial operations for offshore, marine, or FPSO-related activities. - Financial Reporting: Strong background in preparing management accounts, statutory reports, and financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements (CBN, FIRS, etc.). - Tax & Regulatory: In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws (WHT, VAT, CIT, PPT) and experience with industry-specific levies (e.g., NCDMB compliance) - Operational Finance: Experience managing cash flow for project-based operations, including vendor payments, payroll coordination for offshore staff, and petty cash management for site offices - Budgeting & Control: Ability to track project expenditure against approved budgets, highlighting variances to project managers and senior leadership. - Audit Management: Experience liaising with external auditors and preparing audit-ready documentation for both statutory and joint venture audits. - Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). ● Gender Preference: Male / Female ● Age Preference: Not more than 55 years ● Industry Preference: Oil and Gas majorly, with exposure to offshore/marine operations. ● Interview Process: 2 stages (1st is virtual/Either and the second will be physical) ● Work Arrangement: Onsite, Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. (Flexibility required for month-end closing periods). ● Location (city, state): Lagos - VI, Ajose Adeogun, with flexibility to travel to Port Harcourt and other operational/offshore locations for financial verification. ● Remunerations: 1,500,000 Net Max. ● Other Benefits: Statutory benefits are covered, health insurance for family, Leave allowance, 13th month payment, offshore allowance (where applicable).

Requirements
