About The Position

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Tyler Munis preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review accounting and financial documents to ensure accuracy and make correcting entries.
• Examine supporting documentation for proper authorization and compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain control and subsidiary accounting records, including trial balances and financial reports.
• Compile and prepare journal entries and periodic reconciliations of general ledger and bank statements.
• Review complex transactions for accounts payable and payroll.
• Assist with month-end journal entries and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain expenditure and budgetary control accounts and assist with annual budget preparation.
• Prepare year-end adjusting entries and audit work papers.
• Complete financial analyses and special projects as assigned.
