The Accountant position at Barrio Action Youth and Family Center is a full-time role responsible for comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting functions. This position reports directly to the Associate Executive Director and the President & CEO, and it is essential for the Accountant to work collaboratively with other team members to support the organization's mission of helping individuals and families overcome social, economic, and academic challenges. The Accountant will be responsible for full charge bookkeeping, which includes overseeing general ledger maintenance, preparing monthly financial reports, and managing accounts payable and payroll processing. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and trustworthiness. The Accountant will also prepare monthly invoices as required by grants, assist in budget preparation and forecasting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
