About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and be proficient in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and general ledger accounting. This role requires an analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and forecasting techniques.
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, for efficient financial management.
• Perform accrual accounting to accurately reflect the company's financial position.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities.
