May specialize in some phase of accounting work such as federal funds accounting. Brief Job Description: Performs highly complex (senior-level) accounting work in the Accounts Receivable Department. Serves as Team Lead to guide the team to adapt evolving internal procedures and to support the team tasks to be processed completely and accurately. Works involves preparing and overseeing the preparation of financial analyses and reports: establishing, maintaining, and overseeing accounting systems, procedures, and controls and balancing financial records to maintain the agency’s Accounts Receivable subsidiary ledger.
