About The Position
The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) is seeking to fill an Accountant V position. This position is responsible for loan related disclosures in financial statements as well as other loan related reports, designing account structures in various systems to ensure data is available to meet loan-related reconciling and reporting needs, managing staff responsible for financial related loan servicing duties associated with the State's and the Alaska Student Loan Corporation's education loan programs, and participation in various projects involving the loan portfolio. ACPE is the State's postsecondary education agency, promoting access to, and success in, education and career training after high school. ACPE staff service the ASLC loan portfolio. Our Juneau office is conveniently located in the Vintage Business Park area of Mendenhall Valley, close to the bus line, with plenty of available parking. Positions with ACPE are exempt but eligible for all State of Alaska health care, leave and retirement benefits.
