About The Position

The Senior Accountant serves as a key member of the finance team. This position is responsible for providing professional accounting support to a variety of financial functions.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Must have minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting; Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Must have General Ledger experience.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Perform work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
• Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP system, and report/query development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review the financial statements using accounting principles.
• Perform month-end closing duties including journal entries, month-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations.
• Responsible for inventory reporting, cost updates, transaction controls, excess and obsolete reserve analysis.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory as well as assist in cycle count program implementation.
• Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
• Perform monthly revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Update the weekly cash forecast.
• Maintain, control, and update price lists in ERP system.
• Reconcile quarterly rebates and royalties.
• Responsible for General Ledger maintenance and control.
• Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, workshops, etc.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Controller.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
