The Accountant Senior performs advanced professional work involving the analysis and interpretation of fiscal data and application of accounting principles to manage key financial functions with agency-wide implications. Responsibilities may include resource management, business operations, accounting system development, budget data preparation, cost distribution, revenue control, and complex financial analysis. The Accountant Senior will also have duties and responsibilities in, but not limited to, the following areas: General Ledger Accounting, 1099 Administration, Prompt Pay reporting, Stop Payments, Process documentation and development, and some training. The position may supervise other fiscal professionals and support staff to ensure the efficient operation of financial processes and compliance with regulations
