  • Execute the Network accounting related functions for Texas Oncology.
  • Work with the Texas Practices, Senior Accounting Manager, and other accounting team members to identify process improvement opportunities and drive them to completion while performing all month end close activities.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert working independently.
  • Translate business contracts to accounting elements.
  • Understand and execute a control process; understand narrative impacts.
  • Participate in all monthly close, analytics, and control activities.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for the Network.
  • Participate in approval and review of monthly reconciliations.
  • Support Regional Billing Office activity.
  • Work closely with all PSAS accounting and finance functions.
  • Identify opportunities for McKesson best practices and manage implementations of solutions for process improvements.
  • 4-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years full cycle accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines.
  • Proven intermediate to advance ability with Excel (Daily use of pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc).
  • Able to maintain an engaged, positive attitude in an ever-changing environment.
  • Fundamental understanding accounting framework and AJE structure.
  • Deep understanding of account usage and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Understanding of depreciable life categorization and timeline.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft beneficial.
  • SAP experience helpful.
  • CPA certification preferred.
