About The Position
The Accountant is a full-time Shakman Non-Exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting. The Accountant should perform specialized Accounting and Analytical tasks of considerable scope and complexity involving the operations and control of financial and procedural matters related to the collection and payments of fines, fees, and penalties due and owing to the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court pursuant to Illinois State Statutes and/or order of court. Performs the same tasks related to the collection of NSF restitution from attorneys. Accountable for work products of all teams/projects assigned. Handles co-workers and clients with respect and courtesy when performing his/her job duties.
