Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting
• At least 6 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge of, and experience applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Nice To Haves

• CPA License and/or GAAP Certification in Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of accurate, timely monthly financial statements for Doyon, Limited and departments, Doyon Tourism and Doyon Industrial Group
• Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets for Doyon Limited departments and Doyon Tourism
• Review monthly financial package and budgets with Accounting Director and Finance Staff and be prepared to respond to questions from Management
• Work closely with Doyon Accounting Director and Accounting Staff to prepare for the annual audit and quarterly meetings with external auditors
• Work with Accounting Director to evaluate, improve and implement accounting policies and procedures as needed to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Other duties as assigned
