About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accountant III based at our Manufacturing Facility in Greenville, NC. This is a full-time, on-site position based on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Monday-Thursday). Occasional Friday overtime may be required to support month-end close activities. Candidates must also be available for overtime twice per year to support physical finished goods inventory audits.

Requirements

• A four-year degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles in accordance with GAAP and other regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A results-oriented mindset with the initiative to drive improvements and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Reconcile assigned accounts and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Assist with the financial closing process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare and support the creation of consolidations, financial statements, product costing, budgets, forecasts, and other reports for management and auditors.
• Administer and uphold company financial policies and procedures.
• Provide support during financial audits and participate in special projects as needed.
