Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees may: Participates in the processing of Receivables for the CFO Accounts Receivable (AR) Department. Audits accounting and financial documents for accuracy and enters in the Accounts Receivable Tracking System (ARTS), Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS), and Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS). Balances and reconciles financial and accounting documents and records. Assists State Supported Living Centers (SSLC) and State Hospitals (SH) regional accounting teams with providing researching, analyzing, and recommendations regarding financial transaction records and reports. Reviews variety of reconciliation reports monthly or quarterly and resolves discrepancies. Works under general to limited supervision of the manager, with moderate to considerable latitude use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Job Functions (EJFs): Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
