As an Accountant II, you will be on the Commercial Accounting Team, supporting the Commercial Finance Team. Specifically, you will be focused on Promotional Accounting, a high-visibility topic that dramatically impacts The Company's business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of corporate accounting experience required.
• Proficiency with large scale ERP required.
• Proficiency with Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint required.

Nice To Haves

• Public accounting experience or CPA is preferred.
• General knowledge of IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with several month-end close procedures and tasks such as preparing journal entries.
• Partner with finance to ensure proper month-end accrual accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Support internal and external auditors through the preparation of schedules and discussion of accounting policies and business practices.
• Work in cross functional groups to create more efficient and accurate business processes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.
• Work with consultants to help them better understand our business and its needs.
• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data and create meaningful reports.
• Demonstrate agility by adapting to changing needs of the finance and operational departments.
• Support cross functional groups in coding invoices.
• Provide guidance and testing support to the phased Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation.
