The Accountant II supports the Accounting team in the execution of daily tasks related to account reconciliation, month end and year end close, and various research and analyses as the needs arise. The Accountant II will function in a more prominent role and should be expected to work independently on assigned tasks as well as collaborative in nature.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience or equivalent years of work experience required.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience communicating logically and clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Ability to provide excellent, client-focused service.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Experience working with Pivot Tables, Vlookup and other Excel functionality.
  • Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines with accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years experience working as an Accountant in the healthcare field preferred.
  • NetSuite and Blackline experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of complex journal entries.
  • Complex intercompany advanced journal entries.
  • Analysis of Profit and Loss transactions.
  • Interact with Practice Administrators of assigned physician sites.
  • Complex balance sheet reconciliations using large data volumes requiring research and detailed analyses.
  • Month end close tasks including flux analyses.
  • Assist with yearend close research and analyses.
  • Ad hoc requests as they arise.
  • Ability to manage deadlines accurately and timely in a fully remote environment.
