The Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment is seeking a full-time Accountant II for our Fiscal Team. We are looking for a candidate who is service driven, customer focused, team oriented, loves to learn, and has a high personal standard of integrity. Under limited supervision, the candidate will perform full-performance professional accounting work involving a wide variety of accounting and related financial activities. An interested candidate should be able to apply knowledge of accounting theory/principles to maintain the Energy Loan Program’s financial activities. An interested candidate will also be the point of contact for a majority of the agency’s shared procurement activities.
