About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Establish contract and grant accounts after award completion.
• Reconcile accounts for billings/invoices/drawdown of grants/contracts.
• Process journal entries related to the general ledger.
• Monitor grant and contract activities, budgets, and process budget modifications.
• Develop and maintain manual or automated accounting records.
• Prepare spreadsheets and database files from automated information systems.
• Monitor purchasing procedures of departmental personnel.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
• Enter and run trial balances, reconcile out-of-balance amounts, and perform calculations on amortization and interest.
• Reconcile bank statements, bank transfers, and stop payments.
• Assist management in the development of new accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance regarding policies and procedures.
