About The Position
The position involves performing professional and technical accounting work to examine, analyze, maintain, reconcile, and verify financial records. It is a full-time, regular, exempt position in the Finance Department of the City of Las Cruces, but may also be used to fill vacancies in various departments. The role requires regular attendance to ensure continuity of services and is subject to drug testing in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. The work is primarily desk-based in a standard office environment, with light physical demands and frequent use of a personal computer.
