Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of four years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that financial and statistical information is accurately recorded in GVEA's system of accounts, including subsidiary records, and reconciled to the general ledger.
• Provide essential accounting support by analyzing financial data, helping to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Contribute to informed decision-making processes.
• Enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
