The Bureau of Finance and Management (BFM) is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the role as an Accountant I or II. This role provides the opportunity to gain governmental accounting experience, build competence, develop analytical skills, and begin a long-term career with the State. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to: assist in the year-end accrual process; review payments and financial documents for accuracy to assist with the preparation of financial statements; track and monitor expenditures including providing statistical information and analysis; assist in implementation of a new enterprise resource planning accounting system.
