Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical and analytical accounting tasks and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and three years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Strong computer skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willingness to learn new processes and information systems.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and interested in participating in a collaborative team environment.
  • Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior director with managing the financial system processes and reports.
  • Support the financial month-end close with module system processes.
  • Perform general ledger account and bank reconciliations.
  • Design, create, and distribute financial reports for the finance department and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with the financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Assist with account and financial statement analyses and KPIs.
  • Post journal entries to the accounting system, review postings and correct errors.
  • Support various banking functions.
  • Assist finance department with various accounting functions and projects.
  • Assist with facility visits and the training of finance staff.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end reporting.
  • Provide positive, quality customer service to corporate and facility staff.
  • Contribute to company Culture of Caring by maintaining positive and respectful relationships with employees, customers, vendors, program recipients and our community.
  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
