This is an in-office position at our Headquarters in Centerville, UT with occasional travel to MTC facilities within the United States. Position Summary: Reports to the Director, Finance Medical. Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical and analytical accounting tasks and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related finance field required.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able and willing to travel.
  • Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Post journal entries to the accounting system, audit and correct errors, and perform monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations, including related sub-ledgers.
  • Ensure timely completion of subsystem closing processes, trial balance preparation, and budget reports for all MTC Medical locations.
  • Audit and reconcile all consolidated interdivisional transactions, cash receipts, and cash disbursements on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and review interdivisional and reimbursement billings.
  • Review accounts payable and purchase card transactions for accurate coding and documentation.
  • Assist facility/operational staff with questions and problems as they arise.
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closing for all medical locations.
  • Serve as site Finance Manager for facilities who do not have a Finance Manager.
  • Provide positive, quality customer service to corporate and facility staff.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to company Culture of Caring by maintaining positive and respectful relationships with employees, customers, vendors, program recipients and our community.
  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
