Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
1 - 3 years' experience in accounting performing heavy reconciliation
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic word processing knowledge, preferably Word
Strong spreadsheet knowledge, preferably Excel

Nice To Haves

CPA or MBA Preferred

Responsibilities

Performs root cause analysis of client accounts to resolve any discrepancies found in recording financial transactions
Determines the appropriate amount to refund clients and provides recommendation to management for approval
Reconciles and maintains the accuracy of client balances to include cash position
Identifies client specific ledger discrepancies and provides correcting journal entries as identified in the client reconciliation process
Independently performs detailed analysis of system claim payment data loaded into the client database
Produces management reports summarizing reconciled transactions
Customizes and transmits periodic statements to clients
Prepares escrow confirmations to identify the amount and source of escrow funding per the requests by clients or independent auditors.
Assists in training and development of Analysts in department
Performs other related duties as required or requested
